We got up early and headed over to Vallorcine hoping that the new snow that had fallen over the night would have settled a little more in the trees there. The wind had worked in our favour, admittedly not aIl over the mountain but in some places a fair bit of snow had been deposited. I had a new pair of ski poles to test out and the results were good! They are nothing fancy, 4FRNTs Zombie poles, standard grip, powder basket but i really felt my skiing improved over the day as a result. Those people saying that boots or skis can make a difference to your skiing are way of, its all about the poles!
