That Powder Day!

Luke Jarmey and James Sleigh headed up on the first Midi bin on Wednesday and went straight to the Grand Envers. There were a few groups down before them, but the snow was “suuuuper deep!” so that may have been a good thing. By the time they were up for their second lap the weather had closed in but the visibility on the Rongon route was still sweet. Luke’s highlight of the day was seeing “chamonix style avi control” ..which involved a PGHM chopper hovering above one of the cliffs overlooking the Grand Envers and setting off a load of sluff onto their route.
